After Netflix Special, Kapil Sharma will now have his own biopic! Film critic Taran Adarsh announced the production on his social media.
The film, allegedly titled ‘Funkaar’, will be directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, director of the ‘Fukre’ franchise and ‘Ruhi (2021)’. It will be produced by Mahavir Jain under the name ‘Lyca Productions’.
Earlier, Lyca Productions and producer Mahaveer Jain also starred in ‘Ram Setu’ with Akshay Kumar, the special film ‘Mann Bairagi” with Sanjay Leela Bansali, and Jahanvi Kapoor starrer ‘Good Luck Jerry’ with Anand L. Rai, which is a biopic. Has also worked. Vishwanathan Anand and many more.

He has also produced one of the most expensive Indian films featuring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, such as ‘2.0’.
