Narinder Singh Kapany is an Indian American Sikh Scientist is known as the Father of Optic Fiber He was born on October 31, 1996, in Moga Punjab and Passed Way 2020. He performed his duties as an Indian Ordnance Factories Service Officer ere migrating to Imperial College London in 1952 before pursuing his Ph.D. Even Narinder Singh earned his degree in optics from the University of London in 1955.

There he studied and successfully issued a paper on transmitting images through optical fiber bundles in “Nature” in 1954. In the same year, he wedded Satinder Kaur in London.
